This position is responsible for coordinating activities involving the procurement of materials, supplies and equipment for the operating room.  The position will work closely with the Operating Room staff to minimize cost, maximize service levels and ensure product quality, establishment of par levels for OR supplies, to include: implants; sutures; staples and all instrumentation, will also replenishment (distribution/stocking) of supplies in the OR.  Required Education and Experience – High school degree or equivalent required.  Associates or bachelors degree preferred.  Minimum 5 years of warehouse and/or work experience in a healthcare environment. Physical Demands - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.

The Director Patient Care Services oversees all direct patient care for the ICU and Med Surg. Units and leads the nursing staff in developing and implementing new programs focused on process and service improvement and supporting changes in processes and procedures. High performance is essential in the following areas: improving operational effectiveness; assuring customer satisfaction, clinical excellence, and physician and employee satisfaction.

* Must be Master’s prepared
* Licensure as a Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois is Required*
* 6-10 years of Leadership/Management Experience*
* 5 years Direct Patient Care Experience
* Must be accessible to department by phone on a 24 hour basis.
* Able to accommodate extended work hours.

Registered nurses needed with at least 5 years of previous experience in ICU, medical surgical and critical care. Must have an entrepreneurial attitude, and be willing to work in a variety of areas. IL RN License required. Must be ACLS certified and have Critical Care, Step-down, Recovery Room, or ED experience.
