Preston Wolin, MD
Dr. Wolin, a specialist in arthroscopic and reconstructive knee surgery, is the director of the Sports Medicine Program at the Neurologic and Orthopedic Hospital of Chicago. A second-generation orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Wolin earned his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois, completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical Center and served as Chief Resident at Children's Memorial Hospital. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital and completed his fellowship in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at Newton-Wesley Hospital in Newton, MA. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Wolin is actively involved in sports medicine research and has been published in numerous medical journals. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is the team physician for the Chicago Fire Soccer team, for whom he has inspected many knees. Dr. Wolin also on the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee for the Illinois High School Athletics. He is a member of the Illinois Athletic Trainers Hall of Fame.
