Chiropractic Referral Program

The Neurologic & Orthopedic Institute of Chicago (NOHC) located at 4501 N. Winchester Avenue in Chicago is an acute care hospital focused exclusively on neurosurgical, neuromedical and orthopedic services. Led by medical directors, Leonard J. Cerullo, MD, neurosurgeon, and John Hefferon, MD, orthopedic surgeon, the medical staff of NOHC represents some of the leading neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons and pain management specialists in the country and performs over 2,000 surgical cases annually.    NOHC is proud to be the primary hospital for many of the 20 physicians comprising the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch (CINN) medical group, as well as home for the team physicians for the NBA, Chicago Fire and DePaul University.

Physicians at NOHC have relied on chiropractors, acupuncturists and other integrative medicine professionals in taking care of their patients for over 20 years.  It is because of this extensive experience that the medical staff has expressed an interest in further reaching out to the chiropractic community.   Beginning October 1, NOHC is implementing a Chiropractic Referral Program, a formalized approach designed to elevate the level of partnership between the specialties. The program provides chiropractors an opportunity to join the medical staff of NOHC and participate along side Institute physiatrists and surgeons in developing the premier integrative medicine program in the area.  Furthermore, a dedicated phone number - 888-635-0246 -- has been established for this program to allow for more efficient access to imaging, diagnostic testing and physician referral services.
