CINN neurosurgeon, Dean Karahalios, MD, invited to present at national conference for spine surgeons

Each year the Leaders in Spine Series draws neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons from across the country to listen and learn from the invited faculty.  This year, CINN neurosurgeon, Dean Karahalios, MD has been asked to deliver a presentation on the cervical artificial disc.  As one of the leaders in developing this technology, Dr. Karahalios has a unique perspective into the design, biomechanics and appropriate clinical indications for the cervical artificial disc.  The Prestige Cervical Artificial Disc was approved by the FDA earlier this year and is one of the many surgical solutions Dr. Karahalios offers his patients who are suffering from neck or arm pain.
